In particular btec is specialized in assistance systems on handling and grinding of rolls for the steel, paper and aluminium industry – the centre therefore is our product Roll Works.

In 1998, btec was founded as btec Mair & Roessler Kommunikationssysteme OEG, based in Linz/Austria. Dipl.-Ing. Michael Rößler, an expert in industrial automation and mechatronics, and Alexander Mair, a specialist in software development and databases, could already look back on many years of experience in the planning, design and implementation of customised solutions in a wide variety of application areas at that time. Numerous projects have each been implemented within the framework of individual companies since 1991.
